Choosing the ideal house number is a combination of aesthetics and functionality.
In this article, we want to answer your questions about the Line house number: NumberFix's flagship products.
Many of you ask us: what’s the difference between the aluminum Line model and the acrylic one?
Well! Let's start by saying that the Line model is available in two materials, Acrylic and Aluminum, both offering a contemporary design but with some distinctions that may be very important for some.
Watch our video to compare the two models and choose the one that best suits you!
Detailed Guide of the Line Models
A) Color and Finishes
Acrylic Line Models
Available in three satin colors: gray, brown, and white. The satin finish is modern and refined. Made from two layers, the panel has a satin front part and a transparent base at the back, creating a three-dimensional effect. In addition, an internal aluminum rod ensures durability.

Aluminum Line Models
Offers a wider range of finishes, including brushed steel, charcoal gray, corten, bronze, and rose. The back is completed with a strip of black acrylic for pin fixation.

B) Installation
- Acrylic: Installed with screws and plugs, hidden by caps made from the same material. The back rod lifts the number by about 3 mm from the wall, creating a subtle relief.

- Aluminum: Fixed with pins and spacers that lift the number about 20 mm from the wall, creating a more pronounced three-dimensional effect. Everything is secured with a provided hex key.

C) Durability
- Acrylic: Lightweight and durable without compromise, perfect even outdoors, especially under balconies or canopies. The combination with the transparent back panel is not only aesthetic but ensures superior durability. Tested for decades directly by our company, our acrylic withstands time and weather with style.
- Aluminum: The strength that wins over architecture. Ideal for extended outdoor exposure, aluminum doesn’t bend to time: it’s a champion of reliability and elegance.
D) Allowed Characters
- Acrylic: Allows customized decorations such as punctuation, apostrophes, or hyphens, thanks to the transparent plexiglass sheet: see example.
- Aluminum: Limits customization to essential characters for a more minimalist design.
Which one to choose?
- Acrylic: Ideal if you’re looking for a light, elegant house number with satin effects.
- Aluminum: Perfect if you prefer a robust material with exclusive finishes mounted away from the wall with spacers.
